The Eastern
Canon

The other half of the story deserves equal billing.

The thesis

The other half
of the canon

When the world reaches for philosophy and strategy, it reaches for a Western vocabulary by default: Athens, the Enlightenment, Silicon Valley. These are rightly canonical. But they are not the whole canon.

The strategies, philosophies, and figures of East Asia and India are just as rich and just as instructive. This is not a rejection of the West. It is an argument for equal billing, and modern AI finally makes it possible to bring that other half to life.
